Data Protection Declaration

Provider and responsible entity within the meaning of the German Federal Data Protection Act

mediset clinical products GmbH          Ulf Högberg           Industriestraße 26              40822 Mettmann

Scope of application

This Data Protection Declaration provides users with information on the nature, extent and purpose of the recording and

use of their data by the responsible provider. The German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Telemedia

Act (TMG) form the legal framework for data protection.

Recording of general information

Whenever a user accesses this website, information is automatically recorded by us or the website provider. This information, also called server log files, is of a general nature and cannot be traced back to you. The following information, for example,

is recorded: name of the website, file, date, data volume, Internet browser and internet browser version, operating system, domain name of your Internet provider, the so-called referrer URL (the page from which you accessed our website) and the

IP address. Without these data it would be technically impossible at times to provide and display the content of the website.

It is therefore essential to record the data. We also use the anonymous information for statistical purposes. It helps us to optimise the website and the technology. We also reserve the right to subsequently check the log files where there is reason to suspect that our website is being used illegally.

Provision of additional services

We retrieve additional data so that we can provide services subject to a charge. This applies, for example, to payment information. To safeguard your data during transmission, we use encryption processes (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS which

comply with the latest state of the art.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use the data provided by you solely for this purpose or to inform you about the circumstances relating to this service or registration. We will not pass on these data to third parties. A valid e-mail address

is necessary to receive the newsletter. We will also store the IP address through which you register for the newsletter and

the date on which you order the newsletter. We use these data as proof of misuse if an unknown e-mail address is registered for the newsletter. In order to also ensure that an e-mail address is not improperly entered by third parties in our distribution list, we work with the so-called "double opt in" procedure in compliance with the law. Within the framework of this procedure ordering of the newsletter, dispatch of the confirmation e-mail and receipt of the confirmation of registration are recorded.

You are entitled at any time to revoke your consent to store the data, your e-mail address and their use for the dispatch of

the newsletter. We will provide you with a link for revocation in every newsletter and on the website. You can also inform us

about your request for revocation by using the contact opportunities shown in this document.

Contact form

If you contact us via the online form or by e-mail, we will store the information which you provide in order to answer

your query and ask any follow-up questions.

Integration of services and content of third parties

Our website occasionally includes content and services of other providers. They include, for example, maps provided by Google Maps, YouTube videos and graphics and photos from other websites. The IP address must be transmitted so that these data can be called up and displayed in the user's browser. The providers (hereinafter called "third-party providers") therefore use the IP address of the particular user. Even if we try to only use third-party providers who only require the IP address to supply content, we have no influence over whether the IP address may be stored. In this case this procedure

is used, for example, for statistical purposes. If we know that the IP address will be stored, we refer our users to this fact.

Cookies

This website uses so-called cookies. They are text files which are stored from the server on your browser. They contain information on the browser, the IP address, the operating system and the Internet connection.

We will not pass on these data to third parties or link them with personal data without your permission. Cookies primarily perform two tasks. They help us to make it easier for you to navigate through our website and enable the website to be displayed correctly. Cookies are not used to introduce viruses or start programs. Users can also call up our website without cookies. For this purpose, the corresponding settings in the browser must be changed. Please refer to the Help function in your browser to find out how cookies are deactivated. However, we wish to point out that some functions of this website may be thereby impaired and user convenience will be restricted. The pages http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ (USA) and

http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/ (Europa) enable you to manage online advertisement cookies.

Data minimisation

Based on the principles of data avoidance and data minimisation, we only store personal data  as long as is necessary or is prescribed by law (statutory storage period). If the purpose of the recorded information no longer applies or the storage period ends, we will block or delete the data.

Your rights to information, correction, blocking, deletion and objection

On request, you are entitled to ask free of charge for information on the personal data we have stored and/or demand

that these data be corrected, blocked or deleted. Exceptions: the prescribed data storage is used to process business transactions or there is a legal obligation to store the data. Would you please contact our Data Protection Officer

(contact data: at the end of the Data Protection Declaration) for these purposes. In order to take account of a data block

at any time, the data must be kept in a lock file for control purposes. If there is no statutory archiving obligation, you may

also request that the data be deleted. Otherwise, we will block the data if you so request.

Changes to our Data Protection Declaration

In order to ensure that our Data Protection Declaration always complies with the latest legal regulations, we reserve the

right to make changes at any time. This provision also applies if the Data Protection Declaration has to be changed on account of new or revised services, for example new services. The new Data Protection Declaration will then apply during

your next visit to our website.
